I'm not at all a fan so maybe I'm biased, but I feel like the guys basically *are* generic walking abs, and the girls are generic walking bikinis, and they just do whatever they have to in order to reach the influencer promised land. Maybe they will have the kinds of thoughts you mention and feel pangs of self-doubt. But I'm not sure, because I'm not actually sure they are really human beings like you and me...
Although equally I'm envious of them and their perfect bodies while I've spent my whole life single and now I've gotten fat over lockdown.
