As someone at the start of my weightloss journey, I could relate to much of what you said. Why do women feel such shame about their bodies? I am trying to look at becoming fit and slimming down as purely health-related and trying not to get too hung up on body image, but it's not easy. Thanks for sharing such a relatable post :)
I realised that I last commented on your post about weight gain, previously, and how that I'd never had such a clear and bright mirror held up at me. So thank you, again, for doing the same. I pray for the day when our relationships with weight are uncomplicated and light, but I deeply suspect that will never come. Thank you, again, for cracking open (I suspect) many people's skulls and showing us what we all actually think.
